Senior post-doc position in uveal melanoma available
In the last years a multidisciplinary group has been implemented to better understand and treat uveal melanoma, a rare disease affecting the melanocytes of the uveal tract. The uveal melanoma team is supported by a series of internal collaborative programs granted by the French National Cancer Institute (INCa). Importantly, the Institut Curie team is coordinating a European research consortium in the context of the Horizon 2020 program. The team also benefits from collaborations with industrial partners.
To strengthen translational research on uveal melanoma, SiRIC-Curie in partnership with the Department of Translational Research is seeking to recruit an outstanding translational research scientist with expertise in preclinical studies such as drug sensitivity assays, therapeutic combinations and identification of biomarkers in order to support translation into early clinical trials. Knowledge of molecular pathology and biology of the metastatic spread would be appreciated as well.
Applicants should be MDs/PhDS or PhDs with a post-doctoral experience. They are expected to contribute to the translational aspects of our program and major contributions in identifying potential treatment for uveal melanoma in the preclinical setting.
