The Inserm U830 unit "Cancer, heterogeneity, instability and plasticity" (CHIP) directed by Olivier Delattre is looking for two postdoctoral researchers for Ewing sarcoma and neuroblastoma research.

Neuroblastoma

This position is funded by an ERC Synergy program entitled “Kill or Differentiate“ which gathers scientists at Harvard (P Kharchenkho), Karolinska (I Adameyko & S Schlisio) and Curie (I Janoueix & Olivier Delattre).

The project aims to explore and compare pathways and cell trajectories in normal neural crest and tumor development with the goal to identify signals/pathways that may convert tumors to therapy sensitive states.

The project will take advantage of the variety of cell and mouse models that are available in the group to investigate the mechanisms of plasticity of neuroblastoma cells

Ewing Sarcoma

This project is funded by the French national Cancer Institute (Inca). It aims to understand the role of the EWS-FLI1 oncoprotein in Ewing sarcoma development with a particular focus on the ability of its EWS lowcomplexity domain to promote phase separation and transcription activation at GGAA microsatellite repeats.

It will explore in depth the dynamics of transcription regulation in Ewing cells and the role of microsatellite polymorphisms in genetic susceptibility.

It is conducted in collaboration with the physics group of Mathieu Coppey at Institut Curie and takes strong advantage of optogenetic tools developed by this group.
