Selected by the SiRIC Steering Committee in the frame of the 2015 international call for group leaders "new translational research teams" Céline Vallot, PhD, will join Institut Curie in 2016 to pilot the 4th translational research team endorsed by SiRIC-Curie.
Céline presented her research project "Dynamic modelling of epigenetic plasticity in cancer" to the SiRIC-Curie Scientific Advisory Board at the beginning of 2016.
The aim of the project is to understand the dynamics of epigenetic deregulation during tumour progression in vitro and in vivo using an innovative cell model to capture the epigenetic alterations in real time. The project will focus on breast cancer.
Her project is at the crossroads of several disciplines: it poses both translational and fundamental biological questions based on bioinformatics analysis and integrated biostatistics.
